As your boutique floating hotel cruises through some of Europe's most iconic waterways, you'll witness the continent’s awe-inspiring beauty along the riverbanks, as well as human engineering at it's finest.
Emerald Cruises may be required to make changes to your itinerary or provide alternative arrangements during your journey. A deviation may be a minor disruption, involve changes to your itinerary or involve alternative accommodation, depending on the specific circumstances.

Our state-of-the-art Emerald Cruises Star-Ships are designed to easily convert and fit under bridges. However, despite detailed planning, some days Mother Nature simply doesn't cooperate. Our European offices closely monitor water levels and swiftly address navigation challenges to minimise any disruptions.
Water levels during your cruise
Please be aware that high and low water levels can affect sailing conditions along the rivers. From time to time, we may have to alter your itinerary at short notice due to factors out of our control.
Itinerary deviations
What does an itinerary deviation look like? How could it impact my trip and how might I be compensated?
Minor disruptions may occur during your cruise. This could include, for example, an inability to sail for part of the day, using coaches to transfer guests to an alternative Star-Ship or changing ports of embarkation/disembarkation to an alternative destination.
Coaches may be used to transfer guests, while continuing to be accommodated on your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship. A disruption may also require your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship to continuously cruise without stopping for sightseeing or onshore activities.
Accommodation may need to be provided off-ship in hotels. To the best of our ability, we ensure hotels are of a similar standard to your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship.
Meals will be included, however, alcoholic drinks and select amenities may or may not be included.
